Club Career

Club(s) Played with Barking Schools, Leyton Schools and Woodford Youth Club.  Became a West Ham United FC amateur before signing professional forms in June 1958 and made his League debut on 8 September 1958.  Moore played from 1958-59 to 1973-74 seasons before transferring to Fulham FC on 14 March 1974 for £25,000.  He played his last game on English soil on 14 May 1977.  Moore played in the North American Soccer League in 1976, for San Antonio Thunder and upon leaving Fulham FC, played 11 times for Herning Fremad, as player/coach, in the Danish third division from February 1978, before returning to the NASL for Seattle Sounders in 1978.

Beyond England

His life after football was eventful and difficult, with business deals going wrong and his marriage ending. Many saw Moore's acceptance of a role as a columnist for the Sunday Sport, as a sign of how low he had been forced to go.
