Club Career

Club(s)   Played with Barking Schools, Leyton Schools and Woodford Youth Club.  Became a West Ham United FC amateur in August 1956 before signing professional forms on 12 June 1958 and made his League debut on 8 September 1958 against Manchester United FC. Despite a projected move to Tottenham Hotspur FC in the summer of 1966, he had fallen out with his club, being stripped of his Captaincy, Moore played in 544 league appearances, scoring 24, before transferring to Fulham FC on 14 March 1974, Transfer Deadline Day, for £25,000. Norwich City FC had put in an unaccepted bid earlier in the day. This despite Brian Clough offering West Ham £400,000 to take both Moore and Trevor Brooking to Nottingham Forest FC in July 1973. He played his last game on English soil on 14 May 1977 against Blackburn Rovers FC, completing 124 league appearances, with one goal.  Moore played in the North American Soccer League in 1976 for San Antonio Thunder and upon leaving Craven Cottage, returned to the NASL for Harry Redknapp's Seattle Sounders in 1978. Moore played eleven times for Herning Fremad, as player/coach, in the Danish Third Division from February 1979.

Management Career

Bobby Moore applied for the vacant England manager's job in 1977, the job eventually went to his mentor, Ron Greenwood. The FA did not consider Moore worthy of a reply.
Moore was also expected who became the manager at Watford FC in May 1977 under Elton John. He underwent a successful interview, but inexplicably, the job went to Graham Taylor.
Undeterred
, Moore managed Oxford City FC from 12 December 1979 until May 1981, Harry Redknapp was his assistant. Team Eastern AA in Hong Kong in 1983, and then Southend United FC, firstly as chief executive from August 1983, manager from June 1984 until April 1986;

Died seven days after Jack Froggatt and twenty days after Tim Ward.
Notes Bobby Moore missed three matches at the end of 1964. He was having a testicle removed after he had been diagnosed with testicular cancer.
Arrested 20 May 1970 for a trumped-up charge of a jewel theft in Bogota.
Later, Bobby Moore was dropped by Alf Ramsey for the match against Malta in February 1971, following a decision by West Ham manager, Ron Greenwood, to suspend Moore and Jimmy Greaves following a night-out in Blackpool on New Years Day 1971. They were allegedly drunk during the FA Cup tie that West Ham would lose to Blackpool. If the Hammers had won, nothing would have been reported and Bobby Moore surely would have beaten Billy Wright's Captaincy record, instead of only equalling it.

Beyond England

After retiring from management, Moore became a Football Analyst for the Capital Gold radio station in 1990. And remained in that capacity up until days before his death, when he co-commentated with Jonathan Pearce in February 1993, in the match between England and San Marino. His life after football was eventful and difficult, with business deals going wrong and his marriage ending. Many saw Moore's acceptance of a role as a columnist for the Sunday Sport, as a sign of how low he had been forced to go. - An English Football Internationalists' Who's Who. Douglas Lamming (1990).
