black players to start a match than white players was reached on 28 May 2005,
when England played USA in Chicago. Only five times has more black players started a match than white. The
aforementioned USA match in 2005, and also as recent as March 2013, against
San Marino and September 2008,
against Andorra in Barcelona. Eight started the match against Japan in
May 2010.
