Born 19 October 1927 in Clerkenwellm, London [registered in Holborn, December 1927].
Attended Croxley Green School
Married to Joyce E. Youle [registered in Fulham, June 1961].
Died 21 May 2005, aged 77 years 214 days [registered in Alton, Hampshire, May 2005]. Had been a sufferer of Multi-infarct dementia, before his death.

Club Career

Club(s) Began his early football career with Croxley Green in Hertfordshire. Firstly, with the schoolboy team, and then the junior side.  Also appearing with Watford FC amateurs.  He joined Fulham FC on amateur forms in the 1948 close season. Turned professional in October 1948. He spent his entire senior career at Fulham, playing 306 league matches, where he scored 154, only retiring through injury in August 1957.

Managerial Career

Club(s) After retiring through injury in August 1957, Jezzard joined the Fulham FC coaching staff, progressing to becoming the club's team manager in June 1958, becoming general manager from October to December 1964. Walked away from football after his chairman sold his rising star, Alan Mullery, to rivals, Tottenham Hotspur FC.
