Amateur League. Joined Newcastle Swifts FC in 1926 and Newcastle United FC
in September 1937. Played only once in the League, 18 October
1930, against Derby County FC. He soon joined County in December
1930 in a swap deal involving
Harry Bedford,
and played in 219 league appearances, scoring four times. Joined
Chelmsford City FC in May 1938 and onto Hereford United FC in July 1939 as
player-manager. Joined Leeds United AFC in December 1945 and Bacup Borough
in July 1946. |
