Notes
Two Birmingham players started for England on four
occasions. Goalkeeper Harry Hibbs and Joe Bradford started against
Scotland, 5 April 1930, against Germany, 10 May 1930, against Austria, 14 May
1930 and against Wales, 22 November 1930.
Lewis Stoker then partnered Harry Hibbs in the starting
line-up against Wales, 16 November 1932.
Tom Grosvenor replaced Stoker on three occasions, as he and
Hibbs started against Ireland, 14 October 1933, against Wales, 15 November
1933 and against France, 6 December 1934.
Two City players started twice for England. Gordon
Astall and Jeff Hall started against Finland, 20 May 1956 and against West
Germany, 26 May 1956.
