This red shirt was only worn once, against Ecuador in the last warm-up game before the 1970 World Cup, because their opponents wore yellow shirts with a blue sash, thus providing a colour clash with both the yellow and blue goalkeeping tops.

It is believed that it was Banks' training shirt used as a last-minute replacement.
