This
Racing Green uniform was released on 28 March 2009
alongside
England's new home kit. It normally consisted of green
shorts and white socks, with
a pair of matching green socks occasionally turning it into an all-green uniform.
On its first appearance, against Slovakia, no number was displayed on the
front of the jersey or on the shorts, in keeping with the minimal style of
the new white uniform.
For the World Cup matches, the SOUTH AFRICA 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP logo was worn on the right
arm, whilst against Wales, England wore the UEFA RESPECT logo on the left arm and the UEFA EURO
2012 QUALIFIERS logo on the right arm.
