	Aubergine shirt with white trim across shoulders, white Umbro diamond and England crest. Aubergine shorts with white side panel/double Umbro diamond, with white Umbro diamond and England crest.  White socks with Aubergine trim/white Umbro diamond.

This aubergine shirt was released on 6 February 2007.  Many would like to call it purple, but according to the inside labelling, it's aubergine, as spotted by Bob Dooley. Introduced alongside England's new home kit of 2007.  It consisted of aubergine shorts, both with a white trim.  But it was the addition of an all-white crest that stood this shirt away from its contemporaries. Of note, this aubergine shirt was only ever worn in its ten outings with the shirt it was released with.  Never with the red away shirts. A commemorative Wembley logo, incorporating the venue, date, Three Lions emblem and Brazilian flag appeared on the right arm against Brazil and the UEFA EURO 2008 logo was worn in the European Championship qualifying fixtures.
