Despite being played on English soil, this was still a Welsh home match. Moved from Racecourse Ground, Mold Road, Wrexham at the last moment.
Built on wasteland on the Nantwich Road/Gresty Road junction. Following Alexandra's move to the Gresty Road ground, the recreation ground became tennis courts. Now a car park for both the Alexandra Stadium, and Rail House
