Birth 27 September 1941 in Putney, London [registered as Peter [no 'P'] in Wandsworth, December 1941]. To Guiseppe (Joseph) and Lydia Rina (née Darani)

First marriage to Francis T. Jennings [registered in Worthing, Sussex, June 1962]. Four children, Susanne, Kim, Nicholas and Lisa.
Second marriage to Kay V. McDowell [registered in Birmingham, August 1992]. One child, Scott Joseph (3 October 1984-28 April 2013)
Death Sunday, 12 April 2020 in Walsall, Staffordshire, aged 78 years 198 days. Left £467,000 in his will

Club Career

Club(s) Started his career with Worthing RC Youth Club. Bonetti joined Chelsea FC as an amateur in 1958, turning professional in April 1959. In the summer of 1975, after 495 league appearances, Bonetti left for St. Louis Stars of the NASL, he made 21 league appearances, before returning to England and resigning for Chelsea. He made another 105 league appearances (total 600). He retired in May 1979. He did however sign for Dundee United FC in July 1979 for five league appearances. In February 1981, Airdrieonians FC attempted to sign him. He did however play two league matches for Woking FC in 1986.

When he spent his season at Dundee United FC, he lived and ran a guest house in Fionnphort, on the Isle of Mull and apparently worked as a postman.
