As an Everton FC YTS
trainee, he signed
professional terms on 20 February 1998. Joined Arsenal FC on June
2001 for £8m. Loaned back to Everton FC on 1 September 2003 for the
2003-04 season. Signed by Charlton Athletic FC for £2.6m. on 10
August 2004. Following a lacklustre season with Charlton, and an
uneventful start to the 2005-06, Jeffers joined Glasgow Rangers FC on 31
August 2005 on a four-month loan deal. Jeffers was released from his
Charlton contract in May 2006. Joining Blackburn Rovers FC on 3 July
2006. On 9 August 2007, Jeffers signed for Sheffield Wednesday FC. |

February 1999, as a 17-year-old, Jeffers signed a five-year contract with
