The 24-man 
squad has been chosen by
Vicente del Bosque for the friendly matches next week against England 
and Belgium. Sergio Rico is the only uncapped member of the squad.  Diego 
Costa has been recalled after missing Spain's last two qualification matches. He 
is one of seven Premier League players to be called up.
  
Monday, 9 November 2015 - There are two 
withdrawals from the Spanish squad this morning, Jaunfran has 
suffered a thigh strain. He was injured playing for Atlético Madrid against 
Sporting de Gijon yesterday in a La Liga match. Defender Sergio Ramos has also 
left because of shoulder problems. del Bosque has called up two replacements - 
Athletic's uncapped Oscar de Marcos and Real Madrid's Nacho.
  
Wednesday, 11 November 2015 - Isco pulled out of the 
squad today as a precautionary measure because of a muscle strain. The 
midfielder carried out an individual training session, separate from the rest of 
the team, due to his discomfort. He underwent several medical tests at 
Sanitas-La Moraleja hospital, after which a decision was made to withdraw him 
from the set-up.
