Most Appearances

9 - Millie Bright, Rachel Daly (1 sub), Lauren Hemp, Beth Mead, Georgia Stanway, Keira Walsh, Leah Williamson

  • Keira Walsh spent the longest time on the pitch, only being replaced for the last four minutes in extra time of the quarter-final against Spain.

  • Two of England's European Championship winners made their last international appearance in the final. Substitute, Jill Scott made her 161st appearance, whilst top scorer, Ellen White retired after 113 appearances.

Top Scorers

6 - Beth Mead, Alessia Russo

3 - Georgia Stanway (2 pens)

  • Ellen White scored her record 52nd and last international goal against Norway in the European Championship.

  • The first goal scored in this kit was netted by Chloe Kelly with her first goal for her country. Her second was the extra-time winner that brought England the European Championship.

9 - Leah Williamson

England's second bespoke women's kit was pure white in the Nike Vapor template, and devoid of the maroon edgings, but with a cut-diamond theme in its knitted structure.

The most eye-catching feature of the kit was its iridescent emblems, however. On the home kit, they had a metallic blue-ish hue, but appeared in different colours depending on how the light caught them. To buy a match replica shirt would set you back a cool £114.95, which also raised a few eyebrows.

With England hosting the European Championship a year late, due to the pandemic, the kit was held back until the eve of the tournament, but it was well worth the wait, as Sarina Wiegman's Lionesses roared to their first major title on an unforgettable evening at Wembley.
