WHO AM I
I am
a football fanatic! Leeds United and England fan so lots
of laughs either way!
WHY DO I DO THIS
Three reasons
1 - I love football shirts. From the age of 5 when I got my first
Leeds United shirt I was obsessed with kits and their colours - I had
over 100 as a child and it was all I wanted for Christmas. I loved
the designs, and the seventies and eighties were rich times for kit
companies - umbro, admiral, adidas etc, and kit designs - the admiral
brown Coventry City the England World Cup 1982 shirt etc etc.
2 - I love England - since crying in 1978 when we failed to qualify
for the World Cup, I have been determined that I will not die before
England win something! It is every child's dream to play for England,
and as a wannabe, the nearest thing to playing the in the big games is
having the shirt that was there! I did manage to play in a
Sunday FA Cup Final as a player - but that was when Wembley was being
rebuilt, so the City Ground was as near as I ever got to playing on
the hallowed turf. I still get there as a spectator, and have
also taken many school parties to watch the three lions play.
3 -Because I am slightly mad - it helps. When you first start
collecting you are so naive and don't think about fakes and crooks.
I got my fingers burnt many times at the start, but you soon learn who
to trust, and that nothing beats buying or getting a shirt directly
from a player.
MY AIM
To
get every style of England player shirt there has ever been - long
shot but if you can help me fill the gaps please get in touch –

WHAT SHIRTS WOULD I LIKE – MY WISH LIST
As already stated I
want very design of England shirt ever – some of the older ones are
hard to get!! But my wish list is probably the same as any other
England fan

Worn shirt from our
5-1 win over Germany 2001
Worn shirt from the
1963 Centenary game
And who not want a
shirt from Bobby Charlton, Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst etc etc To be
honest my wish list would be massive!!
JUST ENGLAND?
I
have picked up other shirts along the way, and use many as swaps - I
have many legends shirts such as Gascoigne Lazio, Figo Portugal, Raul
Spain, Beckenbaeur New York Cosmos, Johnstone Celtic plus others - worth not much but as a memory of my
childhood - Priceless!
I would like to

endless questions every week!! They have helped me greatly in
compiling this collection, and it is the least I can do to allow them
to display these shirts on their fantastic website.
