England's Goalkeeper Uniform 1964 to 1973

Notes

Initially, no number was worn on the back of this jersey, but at the 1966 World Cup and in the semi-final and third place play-off at the 1968 European Championship, a red number 1 was worn.  Then from the beginning of the 1969-70 season, it became a permanent fixture, except where noted.  The Umbro diamond first appeared on the right breast against Greece at Wembley in 1971 and, apart from in the return fixture, was present right to the end of the Umbro contract in 1974.
