Playing Career

Club(s) Appeared to have began his footballing career with Long Eaton Rangers FC. He spent the 1889-90 season with Notts County FC and Stoke FC, before leaving to join Notts Olympic FC, then onto Derby County FC. Without playing any first class games, he returned to Notts County FC in June 1890. Joined Loughborough FC in 1891 and back to Long Eaton Rangers FC shortly after.
