Full name Lieutenant-Colonel Kenneth Edward Hegan OBE
Born 24 January 1901 in Coventry, Warwickshire [registered in Coventry, March 1901].

Census Notes

According to the 1901 census, two month-old Kenneth is the youngest of seven children, six of them boys, to Francis J. and Julia. They live at 23 Ellys Road in Coventry, where his grandmother and aunty also live with them. His father is a manager at the cycle gear case works. 

According to the 1911 census, Kenneth has one more younger brother and the eight children remain with their parents at 28 Widdrington Road in Coventry. His father is still the manager.

According to Passenger Lists, Kenneth and his wife, Eveline, were on the Tuscania, leaving Liverpool on 12 October 1937, destined for Port Said in Egypt and Bombay, India. He is stated as an Army Officer.
Married to Eveline McGowran [registered in Coventry, September 1925].
Died 3 March 1989, aged 88 years x days [registered in mid-Warwickshire, March 1989].
Height/Weight 5' 7½", 9st. 4lbs [1924].
