Club Career
Club(s) Began playing Lancashire schoolboy football before joining Everton FC as a right-back, he soon joined Manchester United FC as an apprentice in 1975. Duxbury signed a professional contract at Old Trafford in October 1976.  He remained at United until 1990, playing 229 league games, scoring six times. He joined Blackburn Rovers FC on a free transfer in June 1990, going on to play 27 league matches. He joined Bradford City AFC in 1992, playing 65 league appearances. He left City to join Hong Kong side Golden FC between 1994 and 1996, which included a match against England in May 1996. He retired soon after.
