Playing Career


Club(s)
Started his career in the Southampton FC youth team, where he had been since the age of seven. He rose through the ranks, achieving a place in the first team squad for the 2012-13 season. Debuting in the Premier League a year later, before being signed by Arsenal FC for a £16 million transfer fee on 28 July 2014. After breaking into the first team, on 30 August 2016 Chambers joined Middlesbrough FC on a season-long loan, in a season that saw the 'Boro relegated to the Championship. He returned to The Emirates, until, on 7 August 2018, Chambers was sent out on another season-long loan, to newly promoted Fulham FC. He returned to the Arsenal first team from 2019.
