England Players: Europe and the world
Which England international players have played prominent roles in securing the game's major prizes throughout history?

European and World Finalists
The following is a list of every England full international to have played or managed in a major European or world trophy final.

Players that did not make their international debut until after their final appearance are marked in red.
1955-85

39 people died at the 1985 European Cup Final, when they were crushed against a wall following a confrontation between Juventus and Liverpool fans. English clubs were subsequently banned from all European competitions and did not return until 1990.
