Friday, 18 September 2026 -  The new coach of the Czech national team, Santi Denia, has announced his first squad for the upcoming Nations League matches against Croatia, England and Spain. Among the 26 selected players, there are three newcomers, midfielders Lukáš Ambros, Roman Macek and Matěj Radosta. Michal Sáček returns after a five-year absence. The squad will meet up on Monday, 21st in Prague.

Monday midday, 21 September 2026 - Before the Czech squad gather under the new coach Santi Denia, it is announced that Slavia Prague defender David Zima and  Viktoria Plzeň attacker Denis Višinský have been replaced with 22 year-old Ondřej Kričfaluši, of Union Saint-Gilloise, who steps up from the under-21's and 24 year-old Martin Šubert, of Mladá Boleslav, and is currently the top scorer in the Czech League with six goals. Both earn their first call-ups and both have youth level experience. At midday, it was announced that there were two further changes. Tomáš Vlček and Tomáš Chorý were replaced by Martin Vitík and Václav Sejk. Sejk, is a former captain of the U21's and currently plays for Sigma Olomouc. He made his debut in November last year in a friendly match against San Marino. Vitík, of Bologna, has made nine appearances so far. The last time was also against San Marino last year.
By the end of the afternoon their were two more withdrawals and two more replacements. David Jurásek and Lukáš Provod making way for Jiří Sláma and Daniel Vašulín.
