Diary

Friday, 8 November 2019 - Bernard Challandes has announced his 24-man squad for the final European Championship qualifiers against the Czech Republic and England. Bernard Berisha is the most experienced player from the previos squad not to make this one. The squad will begin training on Monday morning, and will be accommodated at The Emerald Hotel.

Tuesday, 12 November 2019 - The group is incomplete for the first training session because of the matches played on Saturday. Some of the players, Herolind Shala and Leart Paqarada, did not show up due to injury problems, while Vedat Muriqi trained separately from the rest of the players due to ankle injuries he sustained over the weekend at the Turkish Championship. Today's session was closely attended by President Agim Ademi, vice President Bakir Burri and Secretary General Eroll Salihu, as well as a significant number of supporters. Meanwhile, at a post-workout press conference, Samir Ujkani and Amir Rrahmani appeared, who acknowledged that the qualification mission was difficult but not impossible to accomplish. Both stressed that the pressure for Plzen's victory is on the Czechs.

Second and final training session at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium in Pristina. Vedat Muriqi misses out after it was confirmed he will be unable to take part in the next qualification matches. Herolind Shala has again trained separately as medical staff attempt to repair his leg injury.

Thursday, 14 November 2019 - Despite taking a first half lead, the Czechs come back to win and book their place in the Euro 2020 Finals.
