Wednesday, 27 July 2011 - Coach Bert van Marwijk has recalled first-choice goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg to his squad for next month's friendly against England at Wembley.  Ajax keeper Stekelenburg missed the Oranje's South American double-header against Brazil and Uruguay in June with a thumb injury but is restored to the squad, alongside back-up custodians Tim Krul and Michel Vorm.  Newcastle United youngster Krul keeps his place at the expense of NEC Nijmegen's Jasper Cillessen after impressing on his debut against Brazil last month.  AC Milan's Mark van Bommel and Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Rafael van der Vaart are back after injury, but there was no place in the 26-man selection for Spartak Moscow midfielder Demy de Zeeuw, who fell foul of Van Marwijk when he pulled out of the South American tour at the last minute citing fatigue.

Tuesday, 9 August 2011 - Due to disturbances and rioting in London over the weekend, the Football Association, together with the Metropolitan Police, have decided to postpone this fixture, before the Dutch squad boarded their plane in Amsterdam.
