Matějovský has been replaced
in the squad by Anderlecht's Stanislav
Vlček after the playmaker suffered an
ankle injury. The Reading midfielder suffered the blow in Sunday's 0-0
draw against Nottingham Forest and looks set to miss the next eight weeks.

Czech Republic manager Petr Rada has named Reading
defender Marek Matějovský in his squad. Matějovský, who suffered an ankle
injury in Reading's championship draw with Forest on Sunday, was initially
expected to be sidelined for a month. However, he is set to start against
England. Former Arsenal striker Michal Papadopulos has also been included
and is expected to make his international debut, as is midfielder Jan Rajnoch. Tomáš
Rosický
and Libor Sionko are both injured and Jan Koller
will stay with his club, Samara, while midfielder
Tomáš Galásek and goalkeeper
Jaromír Blazek
retired after Euro 2008.
