Diary

Tuesday, 5 May 1992 - Graham Taylor names two squads for England's next two friendly matches. He has named an initial 24-man squad for the match against Hungary next week, with an additional four players added to the same squad to take on Brazil a week later. Taylor revealed his ruthless streak when he dropped a dozen of his players.
In addition, England have been selected to host the 1996 European Championship Finals by the UEFA Executive Committee at a meeting in Lisbon.
