England's Stan Mortensen, flat out in the mud, gazes at the ball.  One source says this photograph shows England's second goal, scored by Wilf Mannion, but another says Mortensen is watching the ball drop down the outside of the net.  Take your pick.  On the one hand, the ball appears to be outside the goal and there is no apparent bulge in the net.  On the other, the goalkeeper's stance appears peculiar for anything but a shot that has gone by him before he has a chance to react.
